Product Line Manager - New South Wales - AU 

The Product Line Manager is responsible for the overall direction and development and growth of an assigned product category, in this case sewn bags and accessories.  As part of a cross-functional team the Product Line Manager will interact directly with manufacturing, sales, design, and marketing in an effort to continue category growth and leading-edge innovation.  The Product Line Manager will lead the New Product Development cycle as well as identify new product opportunities.  A keen business sense and analytical mind are essential to this role.
The primary accountabilities include:

  • Prepare and present business plans justifying new product opportunities and lead cross-functional team through the new product development cycle.
  • Forward development and continuously improving existing lines, and responsibility of new product ideas and new line/product development in response to market and commercial potentials, and/or at management request
  • Identify new product opportunities and develop specific new product objectives to research, and providing financial and technical justification for these opportunities
  • Research existing market conditions and conducting feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing products as well as new product concepts.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the product and retail landscape both domestic and globally to include competitive pricing, features, and specs.
  • Support the Sales Team, as product expert, as necessary during product presentations to key customers.
  • Maintain a current and thorough understanding of the business unit’s financial measurements.Develop product portfolio and pricing strategy to ensure competitive product positioning within each appropriate channel.
  • Work closely with the executive team, sales, and marketing to develop commercialisation plans.
  • Tracking customer satisfaction and measuring product success for product rationalisation

In order to perform the accountabilities of this positions, candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in CPG/sewn product management.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Strong presentations skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • The willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to perform the essential duties of this position.

Marketing Manager - San Diego, CA -  US

The marketing manager will be responsible for creating and implementing multiple mareketing and sales programs for the STM brand. 

  • Assist with concept development, design, production, and writing of marketing materials
  • Resource and mantain product video and photography both lifestyle and product studio shoots
  • Manage print production and 3rd party resources
  • Manage 3rd party PR agencies and internal PR strategies.
  • Maintain and develop online programs such as SEM (paid and organic), email marketing and social media strategy and implementation

The ideal candidate will offer 3-5 years of directly related experience with a consumer products brand.  Deep understanding of brand building activities and a track record of success.  Great presentation skills and an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.  Keen understanding of social media, email marketing and direct to consumr web sales. A successful canditate will have a highly developed sense of humor and able to work in a entrepreneurial, often changing environment.
